Aspirus is recruiting in three sites, all with competitive compensation and bonus metrics:
■ Aspirus Langlade Hospital (Antigo, Wis.) has three full-time and four part-time hospitalists and is recruiting two more full-time physicians. This 25-bed critical access hospital has a four-bed ICU and 24/7 ED coverage. Hospitalists round on 13 or 14 patients per 12-hour shift. Average admissions are between one and six during day shifts, up to five per 12-hour night shifts. Hospitalists work seven-on/seven-off with a combination of days and nights. Strong, supportive collaboration with other providers, and a low cost of living.
■ Aspirus Riverview Hospital (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) has five full-time hospitalists and is recruiting two more. The hospital has an eight-bed critical care unit and a new 16-bed ED that opened this year. Hospitalists see a maximum of 15 patients per day while the typical daily census is between eight and 14. Hospitalists manage ICU patients, and candidates who can manage ventilators and place lines are preferred. Hospitalists work seven-on/seven-off, although a flexible schedule is available. A cohesive group in a growing hospital.
■ Aspirus Wausau Hospital (Wausau, Wis.) has 11 physicians, four NPs/PAs, and is recruiting one more physician. This level II trauma center has an open ICU and five physician rounding teams supported by admitting providers. Teams average 16 patients per day.
