Coming to a city near you: hospitalist-centered CME

One of the challenges of working in a young specialty like hospital medicine is finding the right educational opportunities to sharpen your clinical skills. Plenty of CME meetings focus on internal medicine, but most don’t target your needs as a hospitalist.
That’s why Today’s Hospitalist is proud to be part of a new conference series designed specifically for hospitalists.
The Fall 2005 Hospitalist CME Series, which is being presented in cooperation with Today’s Hospitalist, kicks off on Sept. 12 in San Diego. This unique one-day meeting then travels to three other cities—Philadelphia, Atlanta and Houston—in September, October and November.
The series is being chaired by Sanjay Saint, MD, associate professor of medicine at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center and the University of Michigan Health System. Dr. Saint has chosen top-notch faculty members to talk about the practical issues you face in your day-to-day practice.
To make sure our sessions meet that mark, we’ve asked our joint sponsor, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, to create a unique dual-review process. Our sessions are being reviewed in advance not only by experts from a subspecialty like cardiology, but by hospitalists. It’s just one example of how we’re going the extra mile to deliver current healthcare news that meet your needs as a hospitalist.
Our new series packs all of this information into a one-day format that brings CME for hospitalists to a city near you so you can update your clinical skills and earn hospitalist-centered CME credits close to home.
