- In 2015, 69% of hospitalists reported receiving some sort of bonus. The mean annual income from bonuses/incentives was $31,000. For men, the figure was nearly $33,000 vs. $24,000 for women. The total mean compensation for full-time hospitalists treating adult patients was $261,791.
- Only 26% of hospitalists say they’re paid a salary with no incentives . Only 6% are paid solely on productivity.
