Services: The physician would join a team of more than 60 physicians and advanced practice providers who practice inpatient medicine at Cox South Hospital, a 644-bed, level I trauma center; Cox Medical Center Branson, a 156bed community hospital; Meyer Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Hospital, an 86-bed facility; Cox North Hospital, a 86-bed psychiatric inpatient facility; and Cox Monett Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital.
Schedule and coverage: Hospitalists choose between a seven-on/seven-off schedule or a traditional shift-based schedule. Nights, weekends and holidays are rotated throughout the staff.
Compensation: Physicians receive a one-year salary guarantee and then move to a wRVU model. CoxHealth hospitalists average above the national median.
